Tackle 50 or 30 miles of scenic gravel and paved trails through Mohican Memorial State Forest. Start and finish at Mohican Adventures and ride a mix of historic routes, forest roads, and short singletrack for a true Mohican adventure.

OMBC Points
- MO Gritty does not offer Expert, Sport, or Novice classes
- Racers in both the 30 and 50 divisions will earn points based on placement within their chosen division
- Points are awarded separately for the 30 and the 50
- Two racers may receive first-place points
- Class 3 E-Bike and Tandem divisions are excluded from OMBC points
Course Information
Course Changes
The course may be adjusted in short sections of singletrack due to trail conditions. The Outpost is no longer part of the course. Do not trespass on private property there.
Directions & Parking
Ample parking is available at Mohican Adventures, a working business. Please be respectful of pedestrian traffic at all times.
Private Trails
Portions of the course cross private property and are open only to registered riders on race day. Trespassing may result in bans or legal action. Cameras are in use.
Signage
Mohican MTB 100 directional signs will mark road crossings and trail sections where needed.
Aid Station Information
Aid Station: One station for 50-mile racers at the Bridge of Dreams, stocked with water, Hammer Heed, Coke, cookies, bananas, M&Ms, pretzels/chips, and Squirt Chain Lube if needed.
Cutoff Time: Closes at 1:00 p.m. Riders continuing after this time do so at their own risk, without aid or sweep support.
Race Rules & Conduct
- Racers may finish riding, pushing, or carrying a mechanically impaired bike, provided all laps are completed and no course shortcuts occur.
- No bike parts, including wheel sets, may be accepted from non-registered racers along the course. Any off-course detours (e.g., for repairs) must rejoin at the exact point left. All parts must remain near the start/finish or parking areas. Violations may lead to disqualification.
- Racers must ride courteously, allowing faster riders to pass when space permits.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in a DNF.
- Falsifying registration information will result in a DNF.
- Race or rider protests must be filed with a race official within 20 minutes of finishing.
- Sport and Novice division winners must move to a higher class the following season.
