6 Hours of John Bryan

OMBC Series Race #6

Miami Valley Mountain Bike Association’s (MVMBA) most popular race is back and for the first time, it’s part of the Ohio Mountain Bike Championship series! Get your legs ready for 6 Hours at John Bryan, proudly sponsored by Wagner Subaru. MVMBA is thrilled to welcome their support.

6 Minutes of John Bryan

The free, kids-only race starts immediately after the 6-hour race begins (around 9:55 a.m.). Riders complete the prologue lap—including the Le Mans–style run to your bike start. Winning times in past years have been around six minutes, with most riders finishing in 8–12 minutes. We even offer a strider (no pedals) category, with competitors as young as 18 months! All participants must clear the finish line (on the 6-hour course) by 10:40 a.m.

Free registration: 6 Minutes of John Bryan (Kids Race).

About MVMBA

Miami Valley Mountain Bike Association (MVMBA) is a group of cycling and outdoor enthusiasts dedicated to growing mountain biking in the Miami Valley. Starting with a small crew building trails at John Bryan State Park—including the Frankenlight Trail named for Nate Hawkins—we’ve grown into an official IMBA chapter. We helped create MoMBA at Huffman MetroPark, bringing mountain biking into Dayton proper, and host popular events like FastLaps and the 6-Hour Race for Relief. We maintain trails, teach sustainable riding, advocate statewide, and host fun events for riders of all levels and bikes.
